The Italian Association of Leather Chemists, based in Santa Croce (PI), gathers more than 600 members of chemists and leather technicians, but also representatives of scientific equipments and machineries for   tanning activities, of the academic world and of the leather supply chain in the broadest sense of the term, making it the largest sectoral association and one of the most numerous technical-scientific associations in Italy.

AICC has planned an intense promotion activity and divulgation of the tannery culture through the organization of technical-scientific conferences, courses, seminars and training meetings on sector issues, also in the second half of the year.

Among the most important events, we point out the one of October in Solofra (AV) for the 17th Congress Convention in the Campania Area and the one of November in Arzignano (VI) for the 10th Technical Conference in the Veneto Area, where all the latest news will be discussed and the technical and scientific aspects of the tanning sector will be illustrated.

Over the next few months the attention will be focused on the study of leather defects, thanks to the training seminars planned and organized on the subject in all three major Italian tanning areas.

As always, AICC will keep the members updated on all the news on site thanks to a constant information campaign through its website and the transmission of frequent newsletters.
