Celebrated ten years of production in ChinaGlobal leather chemicals manufacturer Smit & zoon celebrated 10 years of production in China during a festive gala dinner in Shanghai on August 30. Key Chinese customers attended the dinner as well as Smit’s local agents, distributors, and staff.
Located at the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park (NCIP), the Smit & zoon plant in Nanjing started production in 2008. Since then, Smit & zoon has strengthened its commitment to the Chinese market and has continuously increased its production of leather processing chemicals in China. The plant adheres to the highest standards with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 certifications, and Level II Certificate of Safety Standardization.
Hans van Haarst, CEO of Smit & zoon says: “I am very honored and exited to be here and celebrate this milestone. With our excellent team, our strong network, and the desire to offer Chinese tanneries high quality wet-end and finishing products and excellent technical support, the past 10 years have been successful for us.
