One of the stands to visit during the impressive All China Leather Exhibition (92,000 sqm of exhibition space, more than 1,200 exhibitors representing 36 countries, 22,000 visitors expected), to be held on 30 August to 1 September in Shanghai, is the ICAP Leather Chem (Pad 3, Stand C17b), where the technical and commercial staff will present a series of interesting new products with different destinations of use to customers and operators.

The company, headquartered in Lainate (near Milan) and present on districts with two factories (Arzignano and Castelfranco di Sotto), brings to the Shanghai fair some innovative references to water, including the new opaque polyurethanes designed for the automotive industry that can reduce (or eliminate) the use of silicon and inorganic loads.

Also interesting is the new range of water-based products (adhesives, base coats, various effects and top coats) for application with the “Transfer Coating” system on both leather and synthetic materials. This viable alternative to traditional solvent-based products, with the same application performances, offers evident environmental and safety benefits. Also worth highlighting is the new range of water products for “Bianco Sportivo” footwear, developed thanks to the research of leading manufacturers, in compliance with the current regulations and strict chemical-physical requirements.

At the ICAP stand, visitors can also learn about the new compounds for soles and tactile modifiers dedicated to clothing and footwear, tailored to meet the latest fashion needs. Worth noting is also the innovative “Product/Process” system for upgrading Nubuck leather with evident surface defects. The stand features a wide range of innovations, resulting from the continuous research that has characterised ICAP Leather Chem’s seventy years of experience in the production of cutting-edge chemical products for the leather industry.
