On its 135 sq metre exhibition space, the German specialty chemicals company also wanted to show its constant efforts in terms of technological research for an increasingly sustainable tanning process, presenting a model of a unique on-site manufacturing to create value from by-products directly in the tannery that reproduces the pilot plant set up at a German tannery where tannery waste is re-used in  order to produce new high-quality tanning agents (X-Biomer).

Among the most popular trendy products, special attention is paid to patent leather for which Lanxess has proposed a whole new range of products (Baygen e Bayderm).

A lot of attention is also paid to waterproof leathers for which the German giant is able to offer an extremely interesting low environmental impact manufacturing process.
