ISA TanTec company, the global company present in China, USA and Vietnam, continues its international expansion, reaching also Italy. At the beginning of November, the group acquired the majority of Scamosceria del Brenta, a tannery in Bassano del Grappa, with the intention of raising it to an important R&D partner for the entire Group.

Meanwhile, it announced the launch of LaceTec, the world’s first truly sustainable leather lace. The production uses only United States raw materials from tanneries with LWG Gold certification and it is fully traced starting from the slaughter of the animal. Tanning agent formulations provide excellent resistance throughout the whole range, which is divided into sixteen references: eight, 3.6 mm wide male references and the same amount of slightly thinner (3 mm) female references, characterized by more delicate colours and major softness.

The collection is inspired by shades of marine life, which are reinterpreted in three (Seasonal, Neutral and Core) families and classical sailing shoes are considered its principal intended purpose.
