I am proud of this appointment and with the help of my colleagues from around the globe we will ensure a scientifically ambitious and interesting programme

declared Dr Meyer after his appointment. Over the next weeks, the 22 members of the committee will work on criteria and regulations for the presentation and evaluation of scientific relations that will be presented at the Congress.

The organisers expect at least 250 requests to be filed; the “call for papers” will start in September 2018.

It should be noted that the Dresden Congress will incorporate the “Freiberg Leather Days,” an important conference that traditionally attracts brands, retailers and authoritative European representatives from the industries of leather use, such as furnishings to automotive, footwear to leather goods.
