lp_lowLINEAPELLE, at Fieramilano Rho from 4th to 6th October 2017, puts itself forward as the ideal trade show for evaluating the present of the leather segment and its future evolutions.

In particular, it will be the home of the future trends for the 2018/19 winter season, to which the Lineapelle Fashion Commitee gave a stimulating and appropriate name: MAPS. Presented in advance in Great Britain and in the United States, the new trends evoke the need to orient oneself within a creative and economic context that, despite many reassuring signs, keeps on being labyrinthine in many respects.

img_5040_lowThe MAPS spring from the need to “understand the geography and evolution of the infinite interlacements and contaminations that contemporaneity manifests”. So, “crossing, creating hybrid solutions, manipulating, represent the digital prints of our time, together with the need to translate the map of emotions into materials, colours and shapes that mirror a reality that is constantly on the move and perpetually connected”. On materials and accessories, these suggestions will translate into “basic, quality materials with traditional surfaces which support the clean style that is once again appearing on the catwalks. Daring, eccentric and opulent evolutions will spring from here: traditional solutions to renew with gloss, from the most outrageous and brilliant, to delicate pearling in dark shades”.

And some well-worn and vegetable looks too, in order to underline the aspects of a more relaxed, soft and natural fashion. The pleasure of matching leather with winter materials continues: furs, wools, felts, padding in general”.
