The fashion and luxury community has found a great wealth of creative stimuli in Lineapelle’s selection: 1,306 exhibiting companies (+4,1% compared with the past edition) - of which 808 were Italian and 498 were foreign companies from 48 different countries - presented the 2019-20 Fall/Winter collections of leather, synthetic fabrics and fabrics, accessories and components characterized by original and innovative products.

The three inspirational trend areas presented the stylistic suggestions offered by the collections, framing them around the theme “Reflections Between Real and Fake”.

But the really great novelty of this edition was the debut of Lineapelle Innovation Square, the new hub of innovation, which, in the three days of the fair, has explored the most stimulating scientific and technological novelties relating to products, and has dealt with themes such as sustainability and the circularity of the fashion industry, digitalization and Industry 4.0, training, with the contribution of an international panel of experts, accredited research centres and advanced companies. The initiative has attracted a lot of interest and participation and will be proposed during the next edition too.

The next edition of Lineapelle, which will take place at FieraMilano from 20 to 22 February 2019, will have the Spring/Summer collections as its protagonists.

The organizers have already anticipated the trend theme: CO-NATURAL.

Since the distinction between man and machines is less and less visible, everything will merge into a symbiotic relationship that will no longer juxtapose man and technology against each other. To think CO-NATURAL means facing important themes such as the sustainability of processing and the ethics of traceability, means becoming aware of the complexity and mobility of the contemporary world. Colours will be almost irrational, EMOTIONAL, and will move beyond the boundaries of targets and of seasonality, and will act as a filter between the real world and the simulated world, composing unusual harmonies.
