The Supervario T can be defined as the cutting edge of the Bergi brand with regards to the continuous ironing and embossing presses. In designing this machine, the Veneto-based mechanical company did not just want to emphasise the solidity and reliability aspects that have always been essential elements of the brand, but also productivity, the very high printing quality and ease of use. The innovations introduced on this press are many, both in terms of production aspect, safety and ergonomics.
As for the production and quality aspect, the reintroduction of the preheating system in the infeed belt reworked by Bergi after the one conceived and marketed in 1988, reduces the thermal shock by making the leather more receptive to printing. The creation of an oversized pressure roller has increased the width of the printing area, which is 35% higher compared to other machines on the market, increasing the performance of the machine both in terms of processed leathers and with reference to the definition of the press. The combination of these two new elements allows to obtain a full-bodied and well-defined print even with the most difficult grains. Simply put, you emboss more and better.
Bergi strongly wanted to create a user-friendly machine, that is, a machine that best interacts with the operator and makes his work substantially simple. In this regard, Bergi has adopted all those technological solutions that allow the operator to keep all the parameters of the machine under control with just a look. The large and easy to understand and readable touch screen panel allows you to constantly monitor the production activity, the cameras allow you to monitor the important points of the machine and the lighting of the specifically designed working area, allowing operators to move in an always well lit and therefore safe area. Lastly, the connection to the internet allows both the workers and Bergi to constantly monitor the machine, to verify its good condition and to prevent problems that may occur during the working day.
Maximum attention also on the sustainability front. The new heating system developed by Bergi, for example, allows the Supervario T to be brought up to temperature more quickly and efficiently while ensuring significant energy savings. In this regard, Supervario T is in the running to obtain the release of the Green Label as already obtained by its younger sister Starlux.
