Scheduled for 23 and 24 March, therefore already postponed by one month compared to the traditional calendar, Lineapelle’s spring edition has been definitively cancelled. A common destiny also for Micam (footwear), Mipel (leather goods), TheOne Milano (women’s haut-à-porter) and Homi (bijoux and fashion accessories), the other fashion fairs that were joined in the exhibition project called #strongertogether which should have taken place in Milan Rho from 20 to 24 March 2021.
A tough decision, organisers explain, but motivated by the awareness that international health and travel restrictions would not have allowed the organisation of a physical high-level event preventing thousands of visitors from safely reaching the exhibition centre in Milan.
Organisers remain, however, alongside their communities of reference, convinced that only together it is possible to overcome this moment in order to reconfirm themselves, once again, #strongertogether in the coming months.
For this reason, they explain, “in the next weeks digital initiatives will be activated towards which all the investments and efforts of the organisers will be channelled, and while being aware of the fact that virtual events cannot replace physical events, they will give exhibitors the opportunity of being able to digitally present their collections and their indisputable creativity”.
