Première Vision announces that it has been forced to cancel the “physical” fair scheduled for 15 and 16 September due to the pandemic. In recent weeks, the organisers of the great Parisian fair dedicated to the presentation of materials and components for the fashion industry, including leathers hosted in the Leather section, had confirmed the edition encouraged by indications of an improved health situation and also by the increase of visitor pre-registrations. However, the resurgence of the Covid-19 epidemic and recent decisions by the French government such as a ban until 31 October on organising events that could attract a crowd of more than 5,000 people, added to the ongoing travel restrictions in many countries, have forced the cancellation of Première Vision. Instead, the virtual format of the event will be strengthened and allow the encounter between and demand on the specific marketplace.
