Zschimmer & Schwarz enters Samia with a role of strategic partner. In a joint press release, the German group and the Veneto chemical-tanning company inform that they have reached an agreement by which 60% of Samia’s capital passes to Zschimmer which intends to expand its international distribution. Mr Luigi Ciarlo will continue to manage Samia as CEO of the company, joined by shareholders who have already chosen to reinvest in the share capital of the company that Zschimmer & Schwarz intends to strengthen.
“We strongly wanted this deal because Zschimmer & Schwarz, represents for us the right partner to face the future challenges of a market that is increasingly demanding and increasingly concentrating on big global players” says Ciarlo, Chief Executive Officer of Samia, in the press release. Established in 1970, Samia carries out its activity through two sites located in Arzignano (VI) and in Santa Croce sull’Arno (PI) and distributes all over the world and in particular in China, Vietnam, Korea, Brazil and India. It specialises in the production of pigments pastes, resins and dyes.
