Due to the coronavirus outbreak the organisers of the Hong Kong fair are considering postponing the event but the final decision will only be made in mid-February. In a press release of the beginning of February, the Hong Kong fair organizers take note of the indications of the World Health Organisation which declared the virus outbreak a global emergency and are preparing to change the dates of the event.
“APLF continues to closely track developments of the coronavirus – says the note -. As organisers, we are aligned with the efforts of the Hong Kong Department of Health as well as the WHO. The goal is to control and limit the spread of the infectious disease.” In light of the WHO’s announcement of January 30 – the press release continues -, after the Coronavirus was defined a global emergency, organisers considered alternative plans. Among these, there is the possibility of postponing APLF at a later date of 2020. In mid-February we will be able to give further information”.
