The organisational activities are already at full speed for the appointment of Simac Tanning Tech 2020, the international fair of machinery and technologies for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries, the next edition of which will be held from 19 to 21 February at Fiera Milano Rho (halls no. 14 and 18). An unmissable event that confirms itself as the world’s leading trade fair for these productive sectors, both in terms of covered exhibition area and quality and number of exhibitors, with the presence of the most important international players in the sector.
On the first day of the event are also possible important exhibition synergies. On Wednesday 19 February 2020, visitors will have the opportunity to simultaneously access 4 of the most important international trade fairs: Mipel, Micam, Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech. A complete supply chain “showcasing” at Fiera Milano Rho.
As for the contents, the watchwords of Simac Tanning Tech 2020 are “Innovation” and “Sustainability”. There is a change in purchasing methods and customer needs, the whole chain changes: the technology supporting a new production method becomes the lever to meet these requirements – is stated in the press release -. For this reason, Simac Tanning Tech is setting itself up as a “technological square” oriented towards Industry 4.0 and new organisational methods, including supply chains, where traditional models are rediscussed without sweeping away the past, but treasuring and implementing technologies for the future. The technologies defined as “Industry 4.0” are no longer just a European prerogative, but the concept was embraced by the great world producer countries, from South East Asia to South America. The international brands dictate new production methods, but adjusting to them is not enough, one must be proactive to remain competitive. The same technologies make it possible to adapt production to (not just environmental) sustainability needs, defined by international production protocols: every manufacturing sector must, rightly, do its part to meet the sustainability objectives defined on the level of the production chain.
The next edition of Simac Tanning Tech will show the best of the technologies “in use” capable of proposing solutions that meet the challenges of tomorrow: production efficiency and optimisation of inputs and production waste, improvement of working conditions and corporate well-being.
