Toscolapi has renewed its Board of Directors by opening its doors to a new member of high professional standing: Stefano Piccoli, a prominent manager who has been a director of the Solvay Group for many years.
Piccoli will make a valuable contribution to Toscolapi. His experience and professionalism will represent an excellent point of reference for the future choices of a dynamic and continuously growing company. The manager spent 39 years within the Solvay Group, holding the position of Manager of Human Resources and Trade Union Relations, as well as that of Manager of Institutional Relations. Both positions have led him to liaise and interact with both Italian and international entities and institutions.
Over the years, Piccoli has specialised in finding forms of public funding for companies, knowing how to connect the interests of business partners and institutions. His expertise in HR management and his proven capacity for internal reorganisation and corporate restructuring will also be a valuable contribution to the management of a rapidly growing company.
“Toscolapi is a very exciting company,” commented Piccoli. “The future challenge for a business that has grown enormously in recent years is to readjust its structure to the growth itself. I hope to be able to transplant my knowledge into the Lapi Group, thus bringing my contribution to a crucial phase. It will be a demanding and fascinating challenge for me.”
The revision of the Board took place following the resignation of Roberto Lapi from his role as Board Member. The current Chairman of the Lapi Group, who is working on other fronts in Italy and abroad, has made way for an important new entry.
The partners, Lapi Group SpA and Toscochimica SpA, have confirmed the Toscolapi Board with Francesco Lapi as Chairman and CEO, and Massimo della Gatta and Luca Squarcini as Directors, who have been joined by Stefano Piccoli in charge of relations with local and national institutional bodies and trade associations.
